Back to that flat expanse, that seemingly endless sea of rustling cornstalks peppered by rusty silos and rustier towns. A typically intense Midwestern storm is approaching while Kelly is out; she has to get home. In the 20 miles between her grandparents' crumbling barn and her parents' house, she receives a phone call from her mother. Assume the role of Kelly during her drive through the storm in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition. While driving through a stylized representation of rural Nebraska, players navigate an extended conversation between Kelly and her parents and younger brother.
Through dialogue choice and simple driving mechanics, this critically-acclaimed visual short story explores a specific moment of these characters' lives and their relationships with one another. The Extended Edition of Three Fourths Home includes an epilogue that expands on the story of the main game. Set at a bus stop in snowy Minnesota, this epilogue examines Kelly's past as well as the effects that the events of the main story have had on her. Submitted on 4/2/2017 Review title of DJ KaboomThis is not Call of Duty. Before you 1-star this as, like, totally the worst game EVER, there's a little something called the visual novel.
They like, exist and stuff. I don't understand why people buy games blind and then complain that it's not what they expected. As an indie title, yeah, it could've used more polish. The writing could have been a little sharper, backdrop could have used a bit more variety, and requiring a manual control for the throttle was distracting. Overall, a decent and emotional visual novel experience.
If you feel the need to crucify this game, do it in the context a visual novel title. Don't do it just because there are no head shots, finishing moves or exploding barrels. Submitted on 8/6/2016 Review title of MeGreat for scrabble fans kids who need help spelling I bought this game for my wife because it looked like something a scrabble fan would like. We have scrabble for XB1,she hated learning the contols for XB1. But this game drew her in so much, that she now plays scrabble, and Boggle on XB1.
If you know a child who needs help with words this game is cute enough to draw them in but gets progressively harder. It uses classic adventure game fighting and leveling up systems. So it is an educational game that is super easy to get into and surprisingly addictive. I hate spelling games, but as I tested it,I couldn't put it down. Perfect for those who need help with words, and those that love word games.
Submitted on 4/12/2017 Review title of Uncle WackNot terrible but not great. NOT really a game but a limited interactive short story with a lot of reading-so if your brain isnt geared toward reading, you wont like this game. Anyway 3/4 Home is an interesting little short story that is very subtle in its content. I had to go through it twice to really get a feel for it & I recommend choosing the top dialog options to get the most out of the story.

In my 1st playthru I picked & choose amongst the list of options & missed backstory on her brother & Kelly's situation. I feel the story could've been fleshed out more in detail. The epilog helped b/c it spoke of Kelly's feelings of being left behind while everyone around her was getting on with their lives.
Its pretty basic-a small glimpse into these characters lives set around 2007 with the recession being a key point helping to set things up. Wouldn't have put that together if not on Kelly's photo project.
Buy it on sale. Under $2 is about the proper asking price. Not great but an enjoyable little story nonetheless. Submitted on 7/3/2016 Review title of DaveAn excellent word game/RPG hybrid that works!
Letter Quest is a large format remaster of a popular mobile game that combines the word finding fun of games like Scrabble or Boggle with an RPG-style progression system. The RPG leveling and unlocks keep you playing. It is relatively short at 40 levels (why couldn't this be procedural?), but there are 4 game types in each level, bringing the total to 160.The game types are fun and include both Time Trials and various Special Rules rounds. A separate Endless Mode lets you keep playing after you've unlocked everything in the main game.A few (very) minor gripes:1. There is no way to shuffle the tiles in your rack, which can often make it easier to spot words.2. You can swap tiles at the end of the level, which ruins one of the accumulator achievements.3.
The verification word list was odd at times.Excellent cartoon graphics and dual selectable soundtracks round out the package. All said, if you are a word game fan, this game should be part of your library! Submitted on 9/10/2017 Review title of CDiabloFun but repetitive This game is pretty much what it is advertised as.
Spell words defeat monsters upgrade repeat. Theres about 5 good special tile types that appear randomly and 5 bad special tile types that certain bad guys can infect you with.
Some bad guys have special conditions('words require 2 vowels to hit') to hurt them. If you want to%100 all the levels or achievements you are in for a lot of the same.As an adult who isnt a great speller, I may have failed 4-5 times total over the 120 challenges, so this is probably better for younger children/teens.Graphics are nice, music is repetitive and I encountered no glitches/crashes/etc throughout. This game goes on sale often and fills a niche not oftten filled, so its worrth checking out when it hits your price threshold.
